Our IMPACT.
GIVE GIRLS A PLACE
TO PLAY AND GROW.
Across the country, girls are too often left on the sidelines — training on poor pitches, coached with low expectations, and surrounded by environments that don’t reflect them. We exist to change that. By prioritising girls’ football, investing in quality coaching, and creating spaces where female role models lead the way, we’re giving every girl a place to belong, to believe in herself, and to grow.

NO PRESSURE.
Challenge: Beginner girls lacked opportunities for match play without committing to weekly leagues.
Solution: Engaged local clubs to participate in monthly festivals, subsidized by the London Playing Fields Foundation, offering a fun non-competitive match experience.
Results: Over 24 months, supported 18 clubs in affiliating new teams and joining league systems.
The festival runs the 1st Sunday of every month

GIVE WOMEN AND GIRLS THE TOOLS TO LEAD
Challenge: Insufficient local female coaches and limited County FA programmes.
Solution: Secured London FA funding to run
a 10-month pilot for female coaches, combining classroom and on-pitch sessions.
Results: 45 coaches trained across
8 sessions, with 25 now actively coaching
at a grassroots club after their first-ever participation.
The pilot has now become a yearly programme

“Matt Morgan has been critical to the success of the London Playing Fields Foundation's latest project, The Girls' Football Hub. His excellent grasp of sports development principles coupled with his humane and empathetic coaching style has meant that he has imbued many girls new to football with the confidence and resilience required to stay in the game.”
